Buran-Energia

Addition of videos of Buran and Mriya at the air-show « Le Bourget » (in France) in 1989.

I finished translating the french part into english, now the english part of the site is full. But there are still lots of documents to be added…

There was a bug in the shop page, the Paypal form was still in French even from the English URL. I apologize for any inconvenience.

Addition of a video about putting into orbit a communication satellite. The load is placed on the side of Energia like Polyus. This animation was computed by the spatial simulation software Orbiter.

On-line publishing of the english version of the website. At the moment there is only the Buran’s chapter but the others shall come as soon as possible.

Addition of the localizations of the different built shuttles models (essentially tests shuttles) and installations of Baikonur with Google map:

• OK-GLI the analog shuttle at the Kingdom of Bahrain.
• OK-TVA who was a mechanical and thermic test model is settled at Moscow in the Gorky park.
• OK-M who was a model for thermic and mechanical tests stayed at Baikonur near the zone 254.
• The launch pad of Buran-Energia at Baikonur.
• The MIK building, Buran’s technical building.
• The 112 building, Energia’s technical building.
• Landing strip on which Buran landed on November 15, 1988.
• Unloading crane for the transport planes.
