Inside pictures of OK-GLI
Cockpit
The analog shuttle was made for the flight tests and thus was different from the Buran shuttle. This is why the lower deck of the GLI shuttle does not look like than the Buran one.
Payload bay
Photos above make us realize the payload bay's volume and see the strengthening pieces which rigidify the fuselage. Furthermore we can also see the doors of the payload bay made of aluminium alloy contrary to those of Buran wich are made of plastic.
Rear section
The rear section of the analog shuttle is very different from the Buran one. First, the analog shuttle does not contain orbital propulsion system (group of engines, tanks, control system). Secondly, supplementary turbojets were added on the sides of the fuselage so that the analog shuttle can take off like a plane. After set up all the equipments for the flight the engineers left a considerable empty volume (we can realize it with the man on the pictures). For the comfort of the technical teams 2 floors were laid out: upper and lower.
